International Sonder Class 1911
back to listComments
The general restrictions were that the length L on the water-line, plus the greatest beam B plus the greatest draft D, should not be more than thirty-two feet. Also that the boat should not weigh less than 4035 pounds with equipment aboard, and that the sail area rated should not be more than 550 square feet in the main-sail and jib. The Sonder Class boats were sailed by three men (they weren’t allowed to be active in the craftsman’s business) and no ladies were tolerated on board. Luckily times changed since then and beautiful boats like Oh mei Oh mei can be sailed by everyone. She is a stunning representative of her class and after a step by step refit she is now offered in ready to sail condition, no matter with whom and where you would like to sail with her.EURO 90.000,00
