S/Y Strolch was built in 1973 at the well reputed Matthiessen & Paulsen yard in Northern Germany to the national KR rating rule. The rule was developed by Henry Rasmussen, to create a class of seaworthy club racers, very close to the RORC rating rule and proved to be very successful. Measuring 6KR, Strolch was built from Mahogany and Teak with a casted lead keel, the hull planking had glued seams right from the start, frames and ribs are made from Mahogany. She is a beautiful cruiser, equipped for extensive sailing vacations for a family crew and can easily be the winning boat in the next classic or club race she enters. Strolch sports a Spruce mast, boom and spinnaker boom with a total of 50m² of sails upwind.
