MARIANNE was built in Torö/Sweden in 1936. Handcrafted of Honduras Mahogany topsides, Swedish Oak backbone, frames, floors and underwater planking. The lead keel is fastened with bronze keel bolts, and the frames and hull planking are installed with riveted head copper nails with bronze screws at hood ends. This unique one off yacht was described in detail by Uffa Fox in 1937. “She combines speed, sea keeping ability and comfort in a wonderful manner.” The classic cruiser racer offered in good condition after 81 years due to very high build quality and good maintenance. Much history including all drawings, prewar photographs and various information are available.
