Gaffel Cutter 1902

Comments

From the beginning on Runag was a fast boat which is shown in several race winning titles. It has been and still is a showpiece and catches looks from people seeing her sailing. The unusual feature of maneuvering without an engine but with 4 long oars is creating a nostalgic feeling while sitting on board. Her hull consists of pitch pine planks on ash frames with beams made from larch. The deck and superstructure are presented in teak with some mahogany features. Runag is waiting for a new owner and is ready to sail. For a first look, this link shows a video of her cruising in perfect conditions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QTaV4wKJHU
