Ten-thousands of regatta sailor in the world knows her and has already crowded her port side at regattas in Northern Germany - we are talking about the Alpha Tauri. She has been based in Flensburg for decades and serves the Flensburger Segel – Club as a regatta starting ship on regatta fields in the surrounding area. Her clear vanished hull, the classic deck sheer and the striking superstructure of the motor sailor are not just coincidentally to be found in many pictures of 12mR World Championships and other big sailing events. But Alpha Tauri is more than just a symbol of the sailing scene. She is fully equipped below deck, including a large galley in the saloon, 2 toilets with showers and of course the deckhouse with a wonderful view in a cosy seating area. The teak deck matches the boat's ship-like character and a bow thruster, as well as the powerful marine diesel make Alpha Tauri a perfect boat also for holiday cruising. Now the time has come to pass Alpha Tauri into new loving hands, whether to continue as an important part of regattas, or to spend the summer on her, Alpha Tauri is there versatile.
